1// Dear, you and I will never make love the way me and the moon can. Unlike us, you see, the moon is way too anxious to make mistakes.

2// In the next life, I’ll be a sheep and you my shepherd. God will be chewing grass also, right next to me, laughing gloriously at himself.

Then you’ll learn the true meaning of responsibility.

3// You read my words but don’t understand me. Every sentence is like a wild bird, always escaping.

When will you surrender the way that even God, himself, does every Sunday?

4// When God drinks wine he remains thirsty. He seemingly never gets drunk because he’s always in a state of ecstacy.

People think being mad is an illness, but it is in fact an ordinary way of life, and a remarkably spiritual one at that.

Daniel reminds himself to be mad through daily affirmations. “Choosing to be mad is even greater than being mad without knowing it”, he repeats over and over in his head. Until, indeed, he becomes entirely unaware of his own insanity.

5// Our life’s greatest work – much like that of God’s – is often achieved unknowingly

6// I'm in love with the cat that appears suddenly at the back door on random mornings, just as God does in my mind during quiet evenings. How can one NOT adore such spontaneity?

7// The best thing about God is that, although he is everywhere, he remains always in disguise so as not to show off about it

8// Self-love is a complicated thing, for we must love others in order to be ourselves. And we must also love strangers in order to make friends. In this way, Love must remain a growing, expanding thing, or else it cannot exist at all...

9// Love says: don’t try to find me, just trust that I exist. When I least pay attention to them, it’s as if every leaf on every tree is somehow kissing me.

10// Being so vast and multidimensional, God sometimes gets confused, giving you more Love, warmth and creative ideas than you can handle. So if you ever feel alone, just know that she’s probably just preoccupied making passionate love to your neighbour in the way she was with you yesterday...
